Camp Seymour for 5th graders is Oct. 9-11, 2024.

Please LABEL your child's possessions with name and school.  Please make sure each student has adequate raingear!  Camp will go on, rain or shine. Please note students will carry their own gear over hilly unpaved land for 10-15 mins.  Easy to carry luggage such as backpacks and rolling luggage are recommended.

Bedding:

• sleeping bag
• pillow
• sheet (optional: for small twin-size mattress

Clothing:

• waterproof raingear with hoot or hat REQUIRED (nylon jackets, sweatshirts, and jeans are NOT waterproof)
• 2 pairs of shoes, including waterproof boots or an old pair of shoes that can get wet
• pajamas
• daily change of socks and underwear
• heavy and light shirts
• warm jacket and sweater
• 2-3 pairs of long pants (add shorts in warm weather)
• glove (nice for canoeing) and hat
• dirty clothes bag

Toiletries:

• toothbrush and toothpaste
• soap and shampoo
• brush or comb
• washcloth and towel
• flip-flops for showering

Equipment:

• sunscreen (seasonal)
• disposable camera with your name written on it
• books and journal
• garbage bag

DO NOT BRING:

• money, unless your group plans to use the camp store (ask your teacher)
• any electronics
• matches or fireworks
• food (including soda, chewing gum, and candy) except sack lunch for the first day
• jewelry or valuables
• cell phones or walkie-talkies (adults may bring them)
