Why Sherman

The team at Sherman works to stay on the cutting edge of science and technology and in 2015 received "innovative school" designation from the district for incorporating a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning model throughout the school. To maximize the STEAM experience, Sherman has implemented project-based learning across all grade levels. Building on the multiple community partners already in place, Sherman provides a rich learning experience for all students. Sherman parents and guardians are viewed as partners in their children's education; this spirit of collaboration can be seen through the active PTSA.
